After fitting the nose gear leg it became clear that the stop tube would rub on the sides of the spring. The stop tube was cut off and replaced with a 3/4" tube and suitable insert. This modification was recently described in the latest Europa Flyer magazine. To set the stop tube up central to the LG01 frame and bonded it with araldite prior to final welding. The below image shows the stop tube clamped in position with ratchet straps.
