I had seen quite a few Europa,s with finger brakes adapted from the old foot brakes.

I acquired ideas and plans from another Europa builder and set about modifying the components to install them in the central tunnel.

I also incorporated a parking brake that is exactly the same as the unit supplied by Europa. This unit is manufactured by Matco and was supplied by aircraft spruce p/n 06 -17200.

The finger brakes are positioned to the right of the throttle box and the parking brake is to the left of the throttle box.

Tony helped out manufacturing the alloy handles and parking brake lever. At some time in the future the finger brake levers will probably want extending.
